A Hajj Story

Sa’eed was sitting at the waiting area at the Jeddah airport after having completed the rites of hajj, and next to him was another person who completed his hajj. The man next to him said: I work as a contractor and Allah (swt) has blessed me with performing my tenth hajj.
·         Sa’eed told him: hajj mabroor, may Allah accept and forgive you your sins. The man smiled and said: ameen. Then he asked him: have you performed hajj before this time?
·         Sa’eed was hesitating to tell him, and then he said: by Allah, it’s a long story and I don’t want to hurt your head with my talk.
·         The man laughed and said: please tell me, as you see we have nothing to do, we’re just waiting.
·         Sa’eed smile and said: yes, waiting is the start of my story. I’ve been waiting years so that I can go to hajj. After working for thirty years as a physiotherapist in a private hospital, I was able to save enough money to go for hajj. The same day I went to get my salary, I came across one of the mother’s who’s paralyzed son I treat. I could see her face was worried and anxious. She said: I leave you to Allah’s keeping, brother Sa’eed this is our last visit to this hospital.
·         I was surprised with her words and I thought she wasn’t happy with my treatment, and that she was considered moving her son to another hospital. She told me: no brother Sa’eed, Allah bears witness that you were to my son like a father, and you helped him in his treatment when we had lost hope. Then she left very saddened.
·         The man next to him interrupted and said: that’s strange, if she was pleased with your treatment and her son was improving then why did she leave?
·         Sa’eed answered: that’s what I thought too, so I went to the administration to find out what happened. They told me the boy’s father had lost his job and was unable to continue paying for his son’s treatment.
·         The man next to him said: there is no might and power except with Allah, poor them, how did you deal with it?
·         Sa’eed said: I went to the manager and pleaded with him to continue treating the boy on the hospital’s expense, but he sharply rejected and said, ‘this is a private institution not a charity’.
·         I left his office sad and broken for this family. Then suddenly, I placed my hands in my pocked which had my money all prepared for hajj. I stood in my place for a while, then I raised my head above and spoke to my Rabb: O Allah, You know how I feel and You know there is nothing more beloved to me than to go to Your house and do hajj, and to visit Your messenger’s masjid. You know I have been working all my life for this moment, but I prefer this poor lady and her son over myself, so don’t deprive me of Your favors.
·         I went to the accounts desk and paid all I had for his treatment which covered the next six months. I begged the accountant to tell the lady that it’s from the hospital expense for special cases. He was affected by this and there were tears in his eyes and said, ‘baarak Allah feek and people like you’
·         The man next to him then said: if you donated all of your money, then how did you go to hajj?
·         Sa’eed said: I went back to my home sad that day for having lost the opportunity of a lifetime for hajj. But my heart was filled with happiness that I removed a distress from the lady and her son. I slept that night with a tear on my cheek. I had a dream and I was making tawaf around the ka’aba and people were saying salam to me and they told me: ‘hajj mabroor O Sa’eed, for you have performed hajj in the heavens before you performed hajj on earth’. I immediately woke up and felt an indescribable happiness. I praised Allah (swt) for everything and was pleased with His decree.
·         When I got up from my sleep, my phone rang and it was the hospital’s manager. He told me the owner of the hospital wants to go to hajj this year and he won’t go without his personal therapist. But his therapist’s wife is expecting and has reac
hed her final days of pregnancy so he can’t leave her. Would you do me favor? Would you accompany him in his hajj?
·         I made sujood shukr to Allah (swt). And as you see, Allah (swt) granted me to go to His house without having to pay anything. And all praise to Allah, the owner of the hospital insisted on giving me something for his accompaniment. I told him the story of the lady and her son, and he demanded the boy be treated at the hospital from his own personal expense. And to place a donations box in the hospital for the treatment of needy patients. And on top of that, he gave the boy’s father a job at one of his companies. He even returned the money I had initially spent for the boy’s treatment. Have you seen great favors than the favors of my Rabb? Subhan Allah.
·         The man next to him hugged him and told him: by Allah I have never felt this kind of shyness as I’m feeling now. I would perform hajj one year after another thinking I was doing something great, and that my place with Allah would be elevated as a result of it. But now I understood that your hajj is equivalent to a thousand of mine. I went to the house of Allah, but Allah invited you to His house. May Allah accept your hajj.
·         Always think good about Allah (swt) and know He is able to do all things.

We ask Allah (swt) to open our hearts and to open the door of hajj for us. May Allah S.W.T protect our Iman. Ameen

Logical thinking

Something interesting regarding those who believe and those who don't believe in God ! Very interesting. It stimulates our lateral thinking :

This lovely parable is from "Your Sacred Self" by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and  listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

THE HARMS OF OVEREATING AND ITS CURE

Hakeemul Ummah Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thaanwi Sahib رحمه الله has said that many sins are committed on account of overeating. As believers, we have to ensure discipline in our lives;
1. Do not become too accustomed to eating sumptuous meals.
2. Safeguard ourselves from harām or doubtful sustenance.
3. Do not fill the stomach beyond its limit but rather stop when a few more morsels could be taken.

The benefits in implementing these disciplines are:
1. The heart remains pure and one recognises the immense favours of Allah Ta'ala. This then results in one developing a love for Allah Ta'ala.
2. Tenderness remains in the heart one will derive pleasure in Zikrullah & Duaa.
3. One will not attach any importance to oneself.
4. When the rūh (soul) inclines towards rebellion, one immediately remembers the consequences of transgression and the rūh prevents one from sinning.
5. One will develop presence of mind, and be saved from laziness. There will be an urge towards virtuous deeds.
6. There will be mercy in the heart towards those who are weak and starving; and one will develop kindness towards everyone.
(Bahisti Zewar)

Hazrat Moulana Maseehullah Khan Sahib رحمه الله has mentioned in Shariah & Tasawwuf that the intended aim of reducing one's intake of food is to weaken the animal urge in man; this leads to preventing the nafs from sin. Experience shows that nowadays, the health is compromised due to indulgence in eating whereas if one adopts moderation, a delight will be perceived in ibaadah and one's health will improve. The habit and temperament of each person differs, therefore moderation will differ for each individual. The simple guideline is to eat when hungry and to stop eating when you feel you can eat a few more morsels. In other words, one is allowed to eat to one's stomach fill but not to satisfy one's desire.

May Allah Ta'ala guide us towards moderation and control in our eating habits.

The proper way to thank Allah

If a Muslim receives a bounty or is rescued from some trial, it is recommended for him or her to perform the prostration of thankfulness. Abu Bakrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reports that: “When the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam received something which pleased him or glad tidings, he would make prostration in thanks to Allah.” (Abu Dawood, no. 2774;. It is saheeh, and was also reported in Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, no. 1494).

Ritual purity (tahaarah), wudoo and facing the qiblah is not a requirement to make the prostration of thankfulness, however, if one makes wudoo’ and faces the qiblah, that is preferred.(Majmoo‘ Fataawa by Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 4/216)📚

May Allah aid us to show this kind of gratitude to Him always for His countless mercies on us. Aameen.

Coffee on the Wall

This story is not me please.

I sat with my friend in a well-known coffee shop in a neighbouring town of Venice (Italy), the city of lights and water.

As we enjoyed our coffee, a man entered and sat at an empty table beside us. He called the waiter and placed his order saying,

‘Two cups of coffee, one here, one on the wall.’

We heard this strange order with interest and observed that he was served with one cup of coffee but he paid for two. As soon as he left, the waiter pasted a piece of paper on the wall saying ‘A Cup of Coffee’.

While we were still there, two other men entered and ordered three cups of coffee, two on the table and one on the wall. They had the two cups of coffee but paid for three and left.

This time also, the waiter did the same; he pasted a piece of paper on the wall saying, ‘A Cup of Coffee’. It was something unique and perplexing for us.

We finished our coffee, paid the bill and left. After a few days, we had a chance to go to this coffee shop again. While we were enjoying our coffee, a poorly dressed man entered.

As he seated himself, he looked at the wall and said, 'One cup of coffee from the wall'.

The waiter served coffee to this man with the customary respect and dignity. The man had his coffee and left without paying. We were amazed to watch all this, as the waiter took off a piece of paper from the wall and threw it in the dust bin.

Now it was no surprise for us, the matter was very clear.

The great respect for the needy shown by the inhabitants of this town made our eyes well up in tears. Now Ponder upon the need of what this man wanted... He enters the coffee shop without having to lower his self-esteem…
He has no need to ask for a free cup of coffee…Without asking or knowing about the one who is giving this cup of coffee to him.

He only looked at the wall, placed an order for himself, enjoyed his coffee and left. Allahu Akbar.

Probably the most beautiful wall you may ever see will be our wall of good deeds on the Day of Judgement.

This is what is Pure and Authentic Sadaqah (Charity) when you give from one hand & other hand does not know about it as the prophet recommended.

May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) help us all to spend for the poor and the needy people purely for Allah sake. Aameen.

Qur'an is ALLAH's Word

1) The Big Bang was discovered by scientists in the past 30-40 years, it was proven in regards to how our universe came into existence - This is in fact mentioned in Qur'an : Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30)
1400 years ago..
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

2) The light of the moon, as it its own light, recently (100-200 years back) who have come to know the light of the moon is reflected light. This is mentioned is Qur'an : Surah Furqan (25:61)
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

3) The world we live on, what is the shape ? It is spherical, discovered in 1597, but Qur'an mentioned this 1400 years ago in Surah Nazi'at (79:30).
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

4) Today Science tell us the Universe in expanding. This is mentioned in Qur'an : Surah Dhaariyaat (51:47) 1400 years ago.
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

5) Recently Science has discovered that plants have sexes which we didn't know previously. Qur'an mentions this 1400 years ago in Surah Taha (Ayat 53)
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

6) Recently we have discovered every living is created from water. Allah S.W.T mentions this 1400 years ago in Qur'an : Surah Anbiya (21:30)
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

7) Recently we have come to know there are two types of water : sweet & salty and there is a barrier between them. This is mentioned in Qur'an - Surah Furqan (25:53) 1400 years ago
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

8) Qur'an speaks about embryology : We have created humans being from a leech like substance (referencing sperm) which we have come to know recently. But is mentioned in Qur'an 1400 years ago in Surah Muminoon. Also speaks about embryological stages.
WHO COULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT OTHER THAN THE CREATOR ?

I am not finished, but the trouble is I will be here all day if I was to quote every single Science fact discovered recently but mentioned in Qur'an 1400 years ago. These are enough to prove a logical person who understands our universe and life that Qur'an is the word of the Almighty ALLAH.

SPOUSAL RELATIONS IN ISLAM

One of the blessed relationships in Islam is the relationship between spouses. The Glorious Qur’an stresses on marriage by articulating that “marriage completes half the deen (way of Life as prescribed by Allah)”.

📗Qur’anic Ayath

“And among His signs is that He created for you wives amongst yourselves that you may swell in tranquility with them; and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts). Surely in this are the Signs for people who reflect.”
📗Qur’an.Surah Rum 30:21.

And marry those among you who are single and (also marry) the Sâlihûn (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficent for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).
 Qur’an.Surah Noor 24:32📗

📗Hadith

The Prophet Muhammad (May Allah honour Him and grant Him peace) encouraged men to treat their spouses in the best way, “the best of you are those who are best (in treatment) to their wives.” At-Tirmidhi 628📗

🌾Aaishah’s(R) Reply

Aaishah, the Prophet’s wife (May Allah be pleased with Her) was once asked how the Prophet’s (May Allah honour Him and grant Him peace) conduct was in his home. She said, “He was like one of you at home, yet he was most lenient and most generous. He was ready to give a helping hand to his wives in the ordinary work of the house, (he) sewed his own clothes and mended his own shoes.”
Al-Musnad, Vol 6:121; Saheeh Al-Jaami' 4927📚
In general, he helped in whatever work his wives did.

🎯The Problem

Marital love requires extraordinary effort from both parties if it is to last and remain vital. The difficulty of marital love does not lie in those small disagreements that are a normal part of everyday life and that all couples haves to work out. Indeed, such problems sometimes revitalize the relationship, like spice in a savory dish.

⛔️The real problem lies in three things:

🚫The inability of one person to understand the other.
Indeed sometimes a person even has difficulty understanding his own self.
🚫The inability of a person to adapt to the partnership that is marriage and the inability to cope with the life changes that it brings. Many people expect things to remain the same as they were before.
🚫The most important problem is a lack of commitment to the relationship and to making it last.

💫For Successful Relation:

🔸Begin with the intention to resolve the issue.
If both spouses have this intention and plan to consult together, it is more likely that there will be a successful resolution.
🔸Remember that it takes two to quarrel.
If only one person chooses not to argue, there will be no argument. Generally, the one who is wrong does most of the talking.
🔸 Both spouses should not be angry at the same time.If one of the spouses becomes upset, it is best if the other tries to remain calm and collected.
🔸 Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire.
Of course, house fires do not occur very frequently; yelling should occur at about the same rate.
🔸 Never go to sleep with an argument unsettled.
This is one of the worst things that can happen in a marriage and should be avoided as much as possible. This allows hurt feelings and thoughts to linger and generally exacerbates the problem.
🔸 If one spouse needs to win, let it be your mate.
Do not focus on winning yourself; this is the main reason that discussions tend to become heated.
 🔸Remember your house in Paradise!
The Prophet said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings [suburbs] of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.

How to make your children pray on their own without quarrel or a reminder

Here's a narrative from a sister;

My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like heavy burden on her, So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and threw it on the ground. I asked her if she prayed - she said yes - Believe me, without feeling I slapped her face - I know I made a mistake. The situation has troubled me and I cried and I repent to God to forgive me.. The slap, the talk, the reminders did not make a difference to my child.

One day A friend told me a story.

She went to one of her friends for a visit. Her friend was not very religious, but when the Adhan prayer was called, her children rushed for prayers without reminders or quarrel. I said to her how does your
children pray
on themselves without quarrel or a reminder? She said, before I got married I used to pray this Dua and stil pray it today.

After she told me the Dua, I began to recite in my prayers and anytime I could. Since I began to recite the Dua my daughter is now the first to prayer without reminders or quarrels. She got up in Fajr prayersb without any alarms. And all her brothers are now eager in praying without any difficulties.

I know You are now eager to know this Supplication Dua..

The Supplication is in Surah Ibrahim 14:40.

And the Supplication is...

( رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَمِنذُرِّيَّتِى*ۚرَبَّنَاوَتَقَبَ ّلۡ دُعَآءِ (٤٠

"RABBI JA`ALNI MUQIIMA SSALAATI WAMIN DHURRIYYATII, RABBANAA WATAQABBAL DUAA."

O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer.

Aameen..

Start today do not wait until you get
married and until you have
kids, prevention is better than cure.

Spread the knowledge so it will be Sadqa-e-Jaaria for you and for me... In'Shaa'Allah.

SIMPLE DEEDS, GREAT REWARDS

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said;

"There are two deeds that if a Muslim slave of Allaah is continuous upon.....

🔹he/she will enter Paradise......

........ they are simple but those who do them are few.

They are,
1⃣ To Say at the end of every prayer,

SubhanAllaah - 10 times
Alhamdulillah - 10 times and,
Allaahu Akbar - 10 times........

........which is equivalent to 150 times on the tongue and 1500 on the scales.

2⃣ And when going to bed, to say,

Allaahu Akbar - 34 times
Alhamdulillah - 33 times and
SubhanAllaah - 33 times,

...... and that is equivalent to 100 on the tongue and 1000 on the scales.

Let days go forth

A poem by Imam Shafi’ī’, may Allāh SWT have mercy on him:

دَعِ الأَيَّامَ تَفْعَل مَا تَشَاءُ *** وَطِبْ نَفْسَاً إِذَا حَكَمَ القَضَاءُ

Let days go forth and do as they please, And remain firm when settled is the Decree.

وَلاَ تَجْزَعْ لِحَادِثَةِ اللَّيَالِي *** فَمَا لِحَوادِثِ الدُّنْيَا بَقَاءُ

Don’t be afraid of what happens by night, For the affairs of this world are not to last.

وََكُنْ رجُلاً عَلَى الأَهْوَالِ جَلْداً *** وَشِيمَتُكَ السَّمَاحَةُ وَالوَفَاءُ

And be a man strong in the face of calamities,
And let your nature be that of kindness and honesty.

وَإِنْ كَثُرَتْ عُيُوبُكَ فِي البَرَايَا *** وَسَرَّكَ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهَا غِطَاءُ

If your faults become too much in front of the people,
And you wish that they were to be concealed.

يُغَطّى بِالسَّمَاحَةِ كُلُّ عَيْبٍ *** وَكَمْ عَيْبٍ يُغَطِّيهِ السَّخَاءُ

Then know that kindness covers all faults, And how many faults are kept hidden by kindness!

وَلاَ حُزْنٌ يَدُومُ وَلاَ سُرُورٌ *** وَلاَ بُؤْسٌ عَلَيْكَ وَلاَ رَخَاءُ

No sadness lasts forever, nor any happiness,
And you shall not remain in poverty, or any luxury.

وَلاَ تَرْجُ السَّمَاحَةَ مِنْ بَخِيلٍ *** فَمَا فِي النَّارِ لِلظَّمْآنِ مَاءُ

Generosity cannot be hoped from the miserly,
For no water exists in the Fire for the thirsty.

وَرِزْقُكَ لَيْسَ يُنْقِصُهُ التَّأَنِّي *** وَلَيْسَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ العَنَاءُ

Your provision will not be lessened due to life’s delays,
And it cannot be increased due to your haste.

إِذَا مَا كُنْتَ ذَا قَلْبٍ قَنُوعٍ *** فَأَنْتَ وَمَالِكُ الدُّنْيَا سَواءُ

If in your heart you possess contentment,Then you and those who possess the world are equal.

وَمَنْ نَزَلتْ بِسَاحَتِهِ المَنَايَا *** فَلاَ أَرْضٌ تَقِيهِ وَلاَ سَماءُ

And for him upon whose horizon death descends,
No earth can offer him protection, nor any sky.

وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ وَلكِنْ *** إِذَا نَزَلَ القَضَا ضَاقَ الفَضَاءُ

Indeed the earth of Allah is certainly vast,
But if decree descends then decree is constricted.

دَعِ الأَيَّامَ تَغْدُرْ كُلَّ حِيْنٍ *** وَلاَ يُغْنِي عَنِ المَوْتِ الدَّوَاءُ

Let days be the ones that betray you at all times,
For no cure can avail a person of death.

The 4 Signs of Protection from Allah's Punishment

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

Makhool رحمه الله said: “Four things, whoever has them, they are for his own advantage; and three things, whoever has them, they will be against him (and will be for his own disadvantage). The four things are: الشكر (Shukr - thankfulness), الإيمان (Imaan - Faith), الدعاء (al-Du`aa’ - supplication) and الاستغفار (al-Istighfaar - seeking forgiveness). Allaah تعالى says:

{ما يفعل الله بعذابكم إن شكرتم وآمنتم} [النساء: 147]

{Why should Allaah punish you if you have thanked (Him) and have believed in Him?} [Surah al-Nisaa' (4): 147]

And Allaah تعالى says:

{وما كان الله ليعذبهم وأنت فيهم وما كان الله معذبهم وهم يستغفرون} [الأنفال : 33]

{And Allaah would not punish them while you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are amongst them, nor will He punish them while they seek (Allaah's) forgiveness.} [Surah al-Anfaal (8): 33]

And Allaah تعالى says:
{قل ما يعبأ بكم ربي لولا دعاؤكم} [الفرقان : 77]

{Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to the disbelievers): “My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours forever (inseparable, permanent punishment).”} [Surah al-Furqaan (25): 77]

As for the three, then they are the following: المكر (al-Makar – slyness/evil plotting), البغي (al-Baghi - transgression), النكث (al-Nakath – breaking the commitments). Allaah تعالى says:

{فمن نكث فإنما ينكث على نفسه} [الفتح : 10]

{Then whosoever breaks his pledge, breaks it only to his own harm} [Surah al-Fath (48): 10]

And Allaah تعالى says:
{ولا يحيق المكر السيئ إلا بأهله} [فاطر : 43]

{But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it.} [Surah al-Faatir (35): 43]

And Allaah تعالى says:
{إنما بغيكم على أنفسكم} [يونس : 23]

{O mankind! Your rebellion (disobedience to Allaah) is only against your own selves} [Surah Yunus (10): 23]”

THE REALITY OF " THE HAJJ SUBSIDY "

SUBSIDY TO HAJI'S (PILGRIMS) OR TO AIR INDIA ???

Due to the issue of THE HAJJ SUBSIDY people from various religions and sects in India have been embarrassing and humiliating Muslims.

IN REALITY IS IT REALLY GIVEN TO THE HAJI'S ??

COME LET US CALCULATE.

🔻CALCULATION OF THE HAJJ SUBSIDY 🔻

As of now the quota for Indian haji's to travel to cities of Makkah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia for the HAJJ PILGRIMAGE is one Lac Thirty Six Thousand HAJI"S.

Last year in the annual budget the government sanctioned Rs.691 Crores as Hajj subsidy.

Rs.691 crores ÷ 1.36 lacs Haji's = Rs.50,808/-.

👉 Means for one Haji the subsidy is Rs.50,000/-.

◀ LETS SUM UP THE EXPENDITURE ▶

👉 For Hajj one haji needs to pay Rs.One Lac Eighty Thousand (Rs.1,80,000/-) to the government.

From which Rupees Thirty Four Thousand (Rs.34,000/-) approximately SAR 2,100/- (Saudi Arabian Riyals) are given back to the Haji after reaching Makkah.

Rs.1.86 lacs - Rs.34,000/- = Rs.1.46 lacs.

Means eventually we pay Rupees One Lac Forty Six Thousand(Rs.1,46,000/-) to our government.

👉 Mumbai to Jeddah return tickets if booked 2 months in advance, then would cost less than Rs.25,000/-, but still lets consider Rs.25,000/-. (This can be cross checked on irctc).

👉 Food, taxi or bus expenses are to be borne by hajis from their own pocket.

👉 Calculation of the expenditure from the amount Rs.1,46,000/- paid to the government:

FLIGHT                                      =25,000
STAY IN MECCA(25 DAYS)    =50,000
STAY IN MADINA(15 DAYS)   =20,000
OTHER EXPENSES                  =25,000
TOTAL EXPENSES                =1,20,000

😧 CONFUSION 😧

👉Means amount taken from one Haji is Rs.1,46,000/- but total expenses are of Rs.1,20,000/-.
Means one haji gives Rs.26,000/- to the government from his own pocket.

👉 Now the real matter is when a haji bears all the expenses from his own pocket and on top of that additional Rs.26,000/- goes to government.

Meaning approximately from one haji including the subsidy, the government gets total Rs.76,000/- but where does this amount go ???

Rs.26,000/- + Rs.50,000/- × 1,36,000 Haji's = Rs.10,33,60,00,000/-.

A whopping ONE THOUSAND THIRTY THREE CRORES AND SIXTY LACS.

👉Remember that as of now the Air India company is in loss of 2100 crores rupees.

👉Without a doubt this money goes to Air India and in the pockets of Indian politicians.

And the Muslims of India are being embarrassed and humiliated in the name of HAJJ SUBSIDY.

Dont forget to share this post.

Fasting on Monday

Alhamdulillah Today is Monday, The Day of Voluntary Fasting, If You Are Able To, If Not Earn Reward By Reminding Others.

Lets make up our mind to fast on monday as recommended by our beloved Messenger of Allah (SAW). Because there are so many evil activities nowadays in our #Societies‬ and some of the means to protect ourselves is to fast for Allah sake.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulullah.

Abu Huraira رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه reported that; The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said, "The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday. ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) forgives every servant who does not associate anything with Him except a man with hatred between himself and his brother. It will be said: Delay these two until they reconcile, delay these two until they reconcile." [Sahih Muslim 2565]
The hadeeth says: “[ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) says:] Fasting is Mine and it is I Who give reward for it.” [Al-Bukhari, Fath, no. 1904]

“The prayer (du’a) of the fasting person will not be refused.” [Reported by al-Bayhaqi, 3/345; see also al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1797]

And also, "Whoever fasts one day seeking the pleasure of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى), if that is the last day of his life, he will enter Paradise."
[Ahmad, Saheeh at-Targheeb 1/412]

And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best.

May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) keep guiding us and aid us through our attempts to pleased Him. Aameen.

Visiting the grave

Visiting graves and attending occasions on which they say that the souls of the Awliyaa’ are present & name it URS.

1⃣. Visits to graves fall into two categories:

(♓) visits which are prescribed in Islam and are required for the purpose of making du'aa' for the dead, praying for mercy for them, remembering death and preparing oneself for the Hereafter. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter." (Narrated by Muslim, 976)📗.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to visit graves, as did his Companions, may Allah be pleased with them.
It was reported that 'Aa'ishah said that when it was her night for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to stay with her, he would go out during the latter part of the night to (the cemetery of) al-Baqee' and say, "Peace be upon you, dwellings of the believing people. There has come to you that which you were promised, …, and if Allah wills we will follow you soon. O Allah, forgive the people of Baqee' al-Gharqad." (Narrated by Muslim, 974)📗.

(♊) the second type is bid'ah (innovation), which is visiting graves for the purpose of calling upon their occupants, seeking their help, offering sacrifices to them and making vows to them. This is forbidden and is a major form of Shirk (Shirk Akbar). Connected to this is the practice of visiting graves to offer du'aa', perform salaah and read Qur'aan there. This is all bid'ah and is not prescribed in Islam.

2⃣. With regard to praying (performing salaah) at a grave. If what is meant is Salaat al-janaazah (the funeral prayer), this is permissible and is not forbidden. But if what is meant is to perform fard or naafil prayers, this is forbidden and is haraam.

The evidence for the permissibility of praying Salaat al-Janaazah in the graveyard:

It was reported from Abu Hurairah that a black man or a black woman who used to clean the mosque died. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked about him and they said, "He died." He said, "Why did you not tell me? Show me his grave." Or he said, "her grave." So he went to the grave and prayed for her. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 446; Muslim, 956)📚.

The evidence that it is not permissible to offer any salaat other than janaazah in the graveyard:

(🅰) 'Aa'ishah and 'Abd-Allaah ibn 'Abbaas said: "When (death) approached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he started to cover his face with a cloak of his. When he became distressed he lifted it from his face and said, "May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians, for they have taken the graves of their Prophets as places of worship." [The narrator said:] he was warning against doing what they did." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 425; Muslim, 531)📚.
(🅱) Abu Marthad al-Ghanawi said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not sit on graves and do not pray facing them." (Narrated by Muslim, 972)📗.

3⃣. With regard to the 'Urs which is held every year: if this involves some kinds of acts of worship, or if the people who attend think that this will bring them closer to Allah, or if it involves acts of disobedience and sin, then it is not permissible to attend it or take part in it. Even if it is free of all these matters, you should still not attend it, because adopting an occasion as an "Eid" or festival (a regular annual event) other than the Eids precribed in Islam is bid'ah (reprehensible innovation) and is forbidden. The belief of those present, that the soul of the "wali" attends this 'Urs is an innovated and forbidden belief, because in the future this may be taken as being a part of the religion, and it will lead people astray. So this event must be denounced and people must be warned against it, and you should not attend it. And Allah is the guide to the straight path.

4⃣. With regard to asking a righteous person to make du'aa' for you when he is still alive - this is permissible, because there is the hope that his du'aa' may be answered because of his righteousness. The evidence for this is:
(🅰) It was reported from 'Uthmaan ibn Haneef (may Allah be pleased with him) that a blind man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "Pray to Allah to heal me." He said, "If you wish, I will pray for you, and if you wish, I will delay that, and that will be better." (According to another report: "If you wish, be patient - that will be better for you.") He said, "Pray for me." So he commanded him to do wudoo' and to do it well, and to pray two rak'ahs…"
(Narrated by Ahmad, 4/138; al-Tirmidhi, 5/569; Ibn Maajah, 1/441; it is a saheeh hadeeth)📚.
(🅱) It was reported that Anas said: whilst the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was giving the khutbah (sermon) on Friday, a man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the horses have died and the sheep have died. Pray to Allah to give us rain." So he spread his hands and prayed (made du'aa'). (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 890; Muslim, 897)📚.

5⃣. If a wali or Prophet dies, it is not correct, according to sharee'ah, to ask him to make du'aa' for you, because he has been cut off from this world. This is a kind of shirk which is not committed by any of the righteous people of this Ummah, the Sahaabah and those who follow them.
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them? And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become their enemies and will deny their worshipping"
[al-Ahqaaf 46:5-6]📗

Take a look at my life..

My life was cold skies,
Mixed with dark days,
Forgotten part of the city,
Where crime paid,
It was all a maze,
Illuminati built a cage.
They fed our ways,
Then sit back
And watch us fill our graves.
It was messed up,
Something wasn't right.
Surrounded by darkness,
I was looking for light.
Had no more sunny days,
Its only chilly nights.
I had to turn around,
I knew I should've made that right.
Take a look at my life,
And all the wrong I was doing,
And all the friends I was losing,
Them bridges burnt down.
Take a look at my life,
And all the drugs I was moving
So drunk, acting real stupid,
I had to slow down.
Oh lord,
I made so many mistakes,
Please tell me what will it take?
Before I suffered and breakdown.
Paranoid of the snakes,
The rats, snitches and Jakes,
The cops were searching,
Informants brought me my take down.
Take a look at your life,
And all the wrong that you're doing,
And all the pain that you're brewing,
Them bridges burnt down.
Oh lord,
We've made so many mistakes,
We feel like we're gonna break,
Heaven knows we're gonna burn down.
Try to close,
But we're open,
Allah knows that we're hoping,
He catches our falls,
When we're broken,
So we don't go down.

Beneficial Guidelines

In order to safeguard one’s time and a‘māl, in particular during a holiday journey, some further beneficial guidelines should also be borne in mind:
1.  Always remain engaged in the remembrance of Allāh ta‘ālā. Keep this thought in mind that my Allāh ta‘ālā is watching me with love.
2.  Maintain modesty and be mindful about unlawful gazes, dressing appropriately in accordance with Sharī‘ah and injunctions relating to contact with non-mahrams.
3.  Take out some time for muhāsabah (taking account of one’s past actions) daily. In particular, ponder over how much of life has passed and how much more remains.
4.  Make firm resolutions for the future by thinking about what one needs to and what one intends to do from now to make amends for the past.
5.  Refrain from the disobedience of Allāh ta‘ālā at all times. Stay away from places of sin and indecency and avoid unnecessary extravagance in spending.
6.  Abstain from all non-Islamic practices.
Spend your time in such a way that when you return, it is with both a healthy body and a healthy soul. May Allāh ta‘ālā safeguard us all and grant us the correct tawfīq. Āmīn.

Dhikr - Remembrance of Allah by Zainub Habib

The word dhikr means remembrance and in the Islamic context, it is used in the sense of remembrance of Allah.

Allah (swt) tells us in the Quran (Translation):

“O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.” (33:41)

Our Prophet ﷺ also told us:

“He who remembers his Lord and he who does not are like the living and the dead.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Dhikr is an all-embracing term that, in addition to including the ritual acts of worship, covers an array of activities of the tongue and heart. It involves thinking of and making mention of Allah at all times and in every area of our lives. This is the worship that has no special time, but is performed constantly so that it permanently links up man’s life with Allah and His service.

The importance of constant dhikr cannot be emphasized enough, particularly if we desire to be on the receiving end of Allah’s attention, Grace and Mercy.

Allah tells us in the Quran:

“Then remember Me, I will remember you.”(2:152)

Our Prophet ﷺ told us that Allah has said:

“I am with My servant when he remembers Me and his lips move making mention of Me.” (Bukhari)

Our Prophet ﷺ also said:

“A man does nothing more calculated to rescue him from Allah’s punishment than making mention of Allah.” (Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

In addition to our ritual acts of worship including the most frequent one i.e. salat-prayer, there are many other ways of remembering Allah. Of these, reading and reciting the Quran is the foremost. Allah refers to the Quran as ‘Adh-dhikr’ i.e. ‘The Remembrance’ or ‘The Reminder’ in as many as 55 places in the Quran. In Surah Saad, Verse 1, he tells us: “By the Quran, full of dhikr.” And in verse 49: “This (the Quran) is no less than a dhikr for all the worlds”. Reading, understanding, reflecting and pondering on Allah’s words is the most effective way of remembering Him.

Dhikr also includes remembering Allah when one gets up in the morning, on starting to do anything, on eating, leaving the house, on entering various places and before performing so many other activities. Our Prophet ﷺ has taught us the appropriate supplications for every occasion and if we can recite these with understanding, all our activities will, Inshallah, amount to His remembrance and worship. With a little effort these can be learnt; but if for any reason one cannot remember the appropriate one, then even saying Bismillah and being conscious of Allah amounts to dhikr and will be a source of barakah – blessing in everything we do.

When a man said: “O Messenger of Allah the ordinances of Islam are too many for me, so tell me something that I may cling to”, He ﷺ replied:
“Your tongue will continue to be supple by making mention of Allah.” (Tirmidhi & Ibn Majah)

There are so many ways of remembering Allah, taught to us by our Prophet ﷺ. When we glorify Him by saying Subhanallah (How perfect is Allah), when we praise Him by saying Alhamdulillah (All praise is for Allah), when we magnify Him by saying Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), all this is dhikr. When we say Astaghfirullah (I seek Allah’s forgiveness), when we say La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power nor might except with Allah), all this is dhikr. Our Prophet ﷺ also said:

“(There are) Two words, (which are) light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale and beloved to The Most Gracious: “SubhaanAllaahi wa bihamdihi. Subhaan Allaahil azeem.” (How perfect Allah is and I praise Him. How perfect Allah is, The Supreme.)

We have also been taught the prescribed dhikr for the mornings and evenings. Allah tells us in the Quran regarding prayers and dhikr (Translation):

“So glorify Allah when you come up to the evening and when you enter the morning. And His are all the praises and thanks in the heavens and the earth; and in the late afternoon and when you come up to the times when the day begins to decline.” (30;17-18)

This morning and evening dhikr should also include seeking Allah’s protection from Satan’s machinations and whisperings and all those things that can harm us. Our Prophet ﷺ said:

“The devil is encircling the heart of the son of Adam, when he mentions Allah, he withdraws; but when he is neglectful, he makes evil suggestions.” (Bukhari)

When we supplicate to Allah earnestly, this is also dhikr. Dhikr can be done anywhere and at anytime. Allah tell us in the Quran:

“Men who remember Allah standing, sitting and lying down on their sides and contemplate the (wonders of) creation.” (3:191).

Ablution is not a prerequisite for dhikr and dhikr can be pronounced with the tongue or done silently. However, when one is saying it, one must not do it with a careless and inattentive heart and try to be conscious of what one is saying.

Dhikr is not only to remember and mention Allah when one is on one’s own but also when one is amongst people i.e. in assemblies. Our Prophet ﷺ told us that that Allah said:

“I am present when My servant thinks of me, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me inwardly I shall remember him inwardly and if he remembers Me in people, I shall remember him among people who are better than they.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Our Prophet ﷺ also said:

“People will not sit remembering Allah without the angels surrounding them, mercy covering them, peace descending on them and Allah mentioning them among those who are with them.” (Muslim)

Gatherings where people assemble to learn and teach religion and to remember Him are greatly encouraged and valued in Islam. Allah has angels who go about seeking those who remember Allah. Our Prophet ﷺ said:

“When you come upon the pastures of Paradise, feed on them.” When asked what the pastures of Paradise were he replied that they were circles where Allah is remembered. (Tirmidhi)

Even when people come together for social purposes, it is important to remember Allah in some way. Our Prophet ﷺ said:

“People who arise from an assembly in which they do not remember Allah will be just as if they had got up from an ass’s corpse and it will be a cause of grief to them.” (Abu Dawud).

There are many prescribed ways of dhikr that are acceptable and praiseworthy in our religion. It is important to remember that dhikr must be done in these prescribed ways as Allah tells us (Translation):

“And celebrate His praises as he has directed you.” (2;198)

Thus creating one’s own ways of dhikr for e.g. reading something or reading something for a specific number of times, unless there is evidence of it in the Quran and the Sunnah, is to be avoided as it may result in the wastage of one’s good deeds.

Dhikr is a means of blessings and reward from Allah and also results in peace of mind. Allah tells us in the Quran (Translation):

“Those who believe and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah, for without doubt, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.”(13;28)

It is vital for our salvation that we remember Allah at all times, both in private and when amongst people. The men and women who remember Allah have been specially mentioned in the Quran amongst the categories of people that are dear to Allah. We have been told about them (Translation):

“And for men and women who engage much in Allah’s remembrance. For them has Allah prepared forgiveness and a great reward.” (33;35)

Call to Muslims to become an Ummah

🌿 Following is the gist of an important speech delivered by Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Rahmatullahi-Alaih (RUA) on 30th March 1965, three days before his death, after Fajr Salat at Raewind. It was the last important speech of his life. Maulana Abdul Aziz RUA (Khulna, Bangladesh) procured this speech to Maulana Mohammad Manzoor Nomani RUA, editor Al-Furqaan. The complete speech is inscribed on twenty six pages. The editor Al-Furqan summarized it, keeping in view that no important portion is left out, and published it in Hazratji Number of his journal in 1965.

🌿 After Hamd-o-Salat, Maulana Yusuf RUA started his speech, in a manner quit unusual for him, with the following words: "Look here, I am not feeling well, could not sleep all through the night. Inspite of this, considering it important, I am speaking. Whosoever understands it and acts upon it, Allah will make him shine, otherwise he would axe his own foot. This Ummah came into existence after lot of struggle. To make it an Ummah, The Rasool SallAllahu-Alaihi-Wasallam (SAW) and his companions Radhi-Allahu-Anhum (RAA) have undergone great hardships. While their enemies, Yahood and Nasara, always tried that the Muslims may not remain an Ummah, rather be splitted into factions. Now the Muslims have lost their 'Ummat-hood'.

🌹 As long as they were one Ummah, a few hundred thousand of them fell heavy upon the whole world. There was not even a single cemented house. Even the masjid was not cemented. No lamp was lit in the masjid of Rasool SAW. The first lamp was lit in the masjid of Rasool SAW in the ninth year of Hijrah. The first man to light up a lamp in the masjid of the Rasool SAW was Tameem Dari RAA, who embraced Islam in the ninth year of Hijrah. But by that time almost the whole Arab had entered into the fold of Islam. Different nations, different languages and different clans had become an Ummah. When all this had happened then only the first lamp was lit in the masjid of the Rasool SAW. The light of hidayah which the Rasool SAW bought with him had spread all over the Arab and even beyond it and the Ummah had come into existence. This Ummah then rose in the world and in whatever direction it proceeded, countries after countries fell at their feet. This Ummah was formed such that not a single person in it was siding with his family, his community, his party, his nation, his country or his language, No one gave weightage to his wealth, property, wife and children, rather every one was concerned about the sayings of Allah and His Rasool SAW. An Ummah comes into existence only when all the relations and acquaintances are curtailed in case they come in the way of compliance to the orders of Allah and His Rasool SAW. When the Muslims were an Ummah, the whole Ummah was shaken if a single Muslim was killed anywhere. Now thousands and thousands are massacred but no heed is paid.

🌹 'Ummah' is not the name given to a nation or inhabitants of a specific region. Unification of hundreds and thousands of nations and regions forms the Ummah. Anyone who owns only a particular nation or region and disowns others, slaughters the Ummah, tears it into pieces and nullifies the efforts of the Rasool SAW and his companions RAA. First we splitted and thus slaughtered the Ummah, then only the Yahood and Nasara butchered into pieces the already slaughtered Ummah. If the Muslims once again become an Ummah, all the powers of the world, joined together, will not be able to cause the slightest harm to them. Atom bombs and rockets will fail to eliminate them. However, if due to national and regional feelings, the Muslims continue splitting the Ummah into pieces, then by Allah, your weapons and armies shall not be able to save you.

The Muslims are being beaten up all over the world and loosing their lives since by loosing 'Ummat-hood' they have nullified the sacrifices of the Rasool SAW. I am expressing the feelings of an aggrieved heart. The disaster is there because the Ummah no more remained an Ummah. The very concept of an Ummah has gone into oblivion  and so is the process through which the Rasool SAW formed it.

🌹 To become an Ummah and for gaining the favour from Allah, the existence of Salat, Zikr, madrasah and education in madrasah is not enough. The killer of Ali RAA, Ibne Muljam, was such a staunch doer of Salat and remembrance of Allah that when the enraged mob, attempting to kill him, tried to slash his tongue he requested to be spared of it so that he could continue hymning the name of Allah till his last breath. Inspite of this, the Rasool SAW had said that the killer of Ali (RAA) would be the most wretched and unfortunate person. Abul Fazl and Faizi obtained the education in madrasah and were so learned that they wrote a commentary of the Qur'an without any letter with a dot. But they were the persons who misguided Akbar and ruined deen. How can the qualities, possessed by Ibne Muljam, Abul Fazl and Faizi, suffice for the formation of Ummah and draw the divine help of Allah?

Shah Ismail Shaheed RUA, Syed Ahmad Shaheed RUA and their companions belonged to the best lot from the point of view of deen. When they reached the frontier areas, people there, accepted them as their elders. But then, the Satan deluded some of the local Muslims not to follow them as they were outsiders and they provoked others for treason. Consequently, their numerous companions were killed. The Muslims themselves shattered the 'Ummat-hood' on the basis of regionalism. As a punishment, Allah imposed the British rule upon them. That was a wrath of Allah.

🌟 Note 🌟:

▶ Abul Fazl and Faizi were two confident courtiers of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar, who ruled India and floated a new religion Deen-e-llahi.

▶ Moulana Shah Ismail Shaheed RUA (b1193H) was a renowned scholar from the famous family of Shah WAliullah RUA in Delhi. He crusaded for elimination of bidah and revival of the spirit of Islam in northern India. Later on he joined the movement of jihad under the banner of Syed Ahmad Shaheed RUA (b1201H) from Rae Bareilly against the tyrant un-islamic rule in India. They raised an army of Muslims and gathered in the northern frontier area of Indian subcontinent, inhabited by the Muslims famous for their martial characteristics, with an intention to seek their participation and then attack the un-islamic government. At the end, after a battle  at Balakot, the Muslims lost due to treason of some frontier chieftains. Both Maulana Ismail RUA and Syed Ahmad RUA along with a large number of their army personnel were martyred.

🌹 Behold, 'my nation', 'my region' and 'my community' are the feelings responsible for the segregation of the Ummah. Allah dislikes this so much that when an esteemed Sahabi, Saad Bin Ubadah RAA, committed a mistake, which if unchecked could have separated the Ansar and Muhajreen, he had to face the consequences. It is quoted that he was killed by jins and a disembodied voice was heard in Madinah (Translation):

"We have killed the chief of Khazraj, Saad Ibne Ubadah. We made him target of an arrow which pierced right through his heart."

This incident set a precedent and taught a lesson that even if a person out of the best ones breaks the 'Ummat-hood', Allah will not spare him.

Ummah will be formed when all classes in the Ummah, without discrimination, take up the work which Rasoolullah SAW has entrusted. And remember the evils of dealing and lifestyle are the things, which spoil the 'Ummat-hood'. When an individual or a class perpetrates injustice and atrocities upon others and denies their full rights or puts them in trouble or humiliates and degrades them, then the division takes place and the 'Ummat-hood' is lost. That is why I say that the Ummah will not be formed merely by Kalimah and tasbeeh. It will be built by a reform in dealings and lifestyles and by paying the rights and respecting all. Rather it will be formed when one's own rights and interest are sacrificed for the sake of others. The Rasool SAW, Abu Bakr RAA and Umar RAA formed this Ummah by sacrificing every thing they had and by undergoing hardships. In the days of Umar RAA, once came a huge amount, of the order of millions and billions. Consultations were made for its distribution. At that time, the Ummah was intact. The persons participating in the consultations did not belong merely to a particular clan or class, rather to different clans and classes and were considered distinguished because of their companionship with the Rasool SAW. After mutual consultation, they proposed that the distribution should be such that the share given to the people of the Rasool SAW'S clan may be the largest, then to the people of Abu Bakr RAA's clan, then to those from Umar RAA's clan. As such the relatives of Umar RAA stood third in preference. When this suggestion was placed before Umar RAA he did not accept it and said that whatever the Ummah got in the past and was getting at that time, it was because of the Rasool SAW. Therefore, the closeness in relationship with the Rasool SAW should be the sole criterion. Closer one was in family-lineage with the Rasool SAW more he should get. In this way Bani Hashim were to be given the largest share, then Bani Abd Manaf then the descendents of Qusai, then of Kilab, then of Kaab, then of Murrah. As such the clan of Umar RAA fell much behind and it's share drastically reduced. But Umar RAA adhered to the decision leaving his clan far behind in receiving the share of the wealth. This is how this Ummah was formed.

🌟 Note: "Ummat-hood" is the translation of "Ummat-pana", a term coined by Maulana Yusuf RUA. It refers to the quality of this Ummah being united like a single body as mentioned in a Hadith of the Rasool SAW.

Avoid Sadness !!

Ibn e Al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah) said in Jawab al-Kaafi, the word (الحزن) - (sadness) does not appear in the Holy Qur'an except in the form of forbidding it  (ولاتهنو ولاتحزنوا) or in the form of negating it (فلا خوف عليهم (ولا هم يحزنون.❌😞💌 And the reason is, there is no benefit for having sadness in heart ❤.The most beloved thing to Shaytan is, making the believing slave sad by taking him off track. The Prophet ﷺ sought refuge from Sadness ~
( اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم وال )
🙌💐 Ibn Qayyim said: 😞 Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes determination and wanting to go forward🏃. 🌹 For this reason, be happy, optimistic and think good about Allah. Have trust in Allah and depend on him. You will find happiness and pleasure in all situations👍. Ibn Qayyim said: ❌ Don't ruin your happiness with worry and don't ruin your mind with pessimism ❌. Don't ruin your success with deception and don't ruin the optimism of others by destroying it. ❌ Don't Ruin your day by looking back at yesterday. 🙇 Think about your situation, Allah has given things without asking, so have trust in Allah (He doesn't prevent your wants except there is goodness for you). 👉 You could be sleeping 💤but the doors of heavens are being opened with dua'as being made on your behalf, SubhanAllah: perhaps from someone poor whom you helped, or someone sad whom you brought joy, or someone passing by and you smiled at him, or someone in distress and you removed it.. so don't ever underestimate any good deeds.
One of the righteous predecessors said: "I make du'a to Allah for something I want, and if he gives it, then I'm happy, but if he doesn't give it I'm happy ten times because the first was my choice and the second was Allah's choice."
💐 As-Sa'ady (Rahimahullah) said: 😞 Life is short so don't shorten it with worries, grief, and sadness. So be the owner of a heart that breathes happiness and satisfaction 🙌. May Allah make your times happy and May Allah forgive us all. امين ثم امين
